I talked with Julie Hefner our Heart to Heart contact in length today. She spent the last 30 days in Haiti and stayed in each camp we are scheduled to work and overnight. I asked her about any problems she encountered and she reported no problems. I also asked her about safety issues and once again she did not have any concerns on her or our safety.
I am also happy to announce we have raised (promised) 100% of the money needed for the trip. All the checks should be in Kwaps hand in coming days.
It is time for you to double check your passports and get with your doctor. DO NOT delay these two topics are critical to you going and enjoying this trip.
We will be collecting passport names and numbers very soon so we can make final bookings with the airline. I have contracted with American Airlines enough seats and double checked those reservation Monday, we are in good shape.
